Alberta International Medical Graduate Program

The Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry provides residency training to Canadian citizens or permanent residents living in Alberta who have graduated from medical schools outside Canada or the United States. These residency spots are funded by the provincial government. The Alberta International Medical Graduate Program is intended to increase the number of eligible international medical graduates working in family medicine and high-need specialty areas in Alberta.
