Post-Diploma Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS)

The Division of Medical Laboratory Science in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta offers a degree-completion program for technologists with general certification from the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS).

This program may be taken on a full- or part-time basis. It grants the equivalent of a four-year Bachelor of Science degree. The curriculum includes compulsory courses in communication and research.

Credit is given for a wide variety of educational experiences. As well, specialization in some areas of laboratory medicine is possible.
