Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Advanced Placement Program

The Department of Dentistry in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta established a special program in 2000 for graduates of dental programs recognized by the World Health Organization; but not accredited in Canada or the United States. Its purpose is to prepare dentists to take the examinations of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada.

Students who are accepted to this program are integrated into the third year of the regular DDS undergraduate program.
