Post-Diploma Degree Completion Program B.Sc. in Dental Hygiene
The Department of Dentistry in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta offers the Post-Diploma Degree Completion Program B.Sc. in Dental Hygiene, intended for dental hygiene diploma graduates from the U of A or other institutions who wish to complete their Bachelor of Science (Dental Hygiene Specialization) degree.
Due to curriculum changes in certain years, there are three different streams for candidates wishing to enter the degree-completion program, depending on when and from where they received their diploma:
- Program A - for students who graduated from the University of Alberta Dental Hygiene Program in 1998 to 2001
- Program B - for students who graduated from the University of Alberta Dental Hygiene Program prior to 1998 and from 2008 onward; also for diploma dental hygiene graduates from accredited dental hygiene programs in Canada and internationally
- Program C - for students who graduated from the University of Alberta Dental Hygiene Diploma Program in 2002 to 2007
